In his introduction, Levita delves into the authorship of Targum Jerusalem to Pentateuch and Writings, as well as matters pertaining to the composition and dating of the various Aramaic translations of the Bible.      The previous owner, Abraham Meinster, was a student of R. Samuel Luzzatto (SHaDa’L) and later, Rabbi in the Italian towns of Viadana and Rovigo.
