(NEW YEAR’S CARDS). Two Rosh Hashanah Greeting Cards. Styled as currency. Offering ‘credit towards a happy year’. Text in Yiddish with some Russian and German. Folds, restored tears. Riga, c. 1900.     Two especially creative ‘Shanah Tovah’ cards.     One depicts GRAND REBBE, R. MENACHEM MENDEL SCHNEERSOHN, THE TZEMACH TZEDEK OF LUBAVITCH;  while the other presents the image of the Matriarch Sarah.
