Recent boards. 8vo. October 1923 - March 1924.     A well-written travel diary with many observations and impressions of New York and America as a whole. Vividly describes trips to various cities as well as meetings with public figures including Henrietta Szold and Chaim Weizmann. Jewish life in America, (synagogues, Kashruth, etc) are also described.     Johanna Loewe was the wife of the librarian HEINRICH LOEWE (1867-1950) who was the original proponent of a National Library for the Jewish People (today, NLI).
