Sm. folio. Vinograd, Frankfurt 53. Frankfurt, Zvi Hirsch Kaidonover, 1682.     R. Aaron Samuel Koidonover (1614-76) and the Sha”ch served together as judges on the Beth Din of R. Moshe Lima in Vilna. The former fled Poland during the Chmielnicki Uprising, during which time two of his daughters were killed. His son, R. Tzvi Hirsch later became rabbi of Frankfurt and authored the Kav Hayashar. He printed many of his father’s works.
