Shlomo Gavriel Margioles (d. 1978) was the son of R. Avraham Zvi Margaliyoth (Keren Orah) and former student of R. Tzadok of Lublin. R. Avraham Zvi moved to Jerusalem in 1908 where he served as a Dayan.  Sefer Ilan HaGadol contains R. Meir Popper’s efforts to transmit Lurianic Kabbalah in pictorial form, providing students with a clearer understanding of the subject matter.
