Hillel Paritcher ), was a devoted disciple of Grand Rebbe Dov Baer of Lubavitch, after whose death, he became a follower of his successor, the Tzemach Tzedek.     Aside from the Rebbes themselves, R. Hillel of Paritch is regarded as one of the most authoritative interpreters of Chabad philosophy. Indeed, this legendary Chossid was selected by the Rebbe to act as a personal emissary to visit Chassidim residing in cities far away from Lubavitch during the months of Av and Elul.
