The present work (named in respect of its patron Jacob Treves of Nice) discusses the interpretation of dreams and exotic interpretations relating to the crowns upon the letters of the Torah. The author served as an emissary from Jerusalem to Germany. He was noted for his saintliness, allegedly fasting from Sabbath to Sabbath. See Y.
