Signed by Johann Carl, Secretary of the Court, to Baron Wolfgang Grauen von Hohenlohe of Langenburg, regarding procedural delays. German script written in sepia ink on paper. Address panel with embossed paper seal. pp. (2) + integral blank + address panel. Folds, very light stains. 8 x 13 inches. With typed transcription. Dörzbach: 16th January 1592 Jewish presence in Hohenlohe, today a district in Baden-Württemberg, dates back to the Middle Ages and continued until the Holocaust. The Jews of Künzelsau, as well as other neighboring communities such as Dörzbach and Laibach benefitted from their location, between Rhinish territory and Austrian and Bohemian lands.
