Jerusalem: 1891
Elizabeth Anne Finn (1825-1921) was the wife of James Finn, the British consul in Jerusalem. Despite being missionaries, the Finns distinguished themselves in Jerusalem as friends of Jews who lacked Ottoman or European citizenship and thus were without protection.
