Note attached: “Gift… 6/2012.” Diam: 9 inches (24 cm). Rabbi Mordechai Hager (Reb Mottele) was appointed Vizhnitzer Rebbe following the death of his father, R. Chaim Meir Hager of Bnei Brak. Father to 14 children, he was a central and inspirational leader to tens of thousands of his Chassidic followers. PROVENANCE : From the estate of an individual who had personal relations with the Vishnitzer Rebbe. He received this Yarmukle as a gift (on 6.20.12) as a way to express thanks for services rendered.
