(Av Beth Din of Raseyn, 1819-1906). AND: Yechiel Michel Wolfson (Av Beth Din of Yanishok, 1844-99). Two Autograph Letters Signed (attached), written in Hebrew to R. Yoseph Zechariah Stern of Shavel (author of Zechor Yoseph).
Requesting the recipient assist in obtaining R. Shraga Meir Lazerovitch a rabbinic position that has opened up in the city of Krakės (Kaunas region).

R. Alexander Moshe Lapidot was R. Yisroel Salanter’s right hand and one of the founders of the Mussar Movement. He authored the celebrated “Divrei Emeth.”
A disciple of the Beis HaLevi in Volozhin, R. Yechiel Michel Wolfson (Otzar HaRabbanim 9278) was the son-in-law of R. Chaim Zalman, Av Beth Din of Mir. He authored the three-volume work of responsa, Sephath HaYam.
