Early study of the Soncino Family and its press from 1483 to 1547.
An important association copy. Includes Sulzberger's penciled notes throughout, concerning Soncino volumes he had acquired for his own collection. Judge Mayer Sulzberger built one of the most prized private libraries in America, the Hebraica of which he donated to Jewish Theological Seminary of America in 1904.
