ROLLER, CHAIM MORDECHAI (1868-1946). Autograph Postcard Signed, written in Hebrew to R. Ya’akov Schachter of Galatz (Galati). Halachic responsa concerning vats of wine. Addressed on verso. Niamtz (Târgu Neamț, Romania): Nissan 1915 Rabbi of Niametz for close to fifty years before settling in Jerusalem in the last year of his life. Exceptionally devout, he was a chossid of R. Dovid Moshe Friedman of Chortkov and R. Yitzchak Friedman of Bohush. An expert in the Halachic matter of Agunoth, he wrote the responsa Be’er Mordechai.
