Autograph Letter Signed, written in Hebrew to “The Administrators.” Halachic response to a domestic dispute wherein a husband was assaulting his wife, insisting she accept a divorce as they are childless. The rabbi rules here that the wife must be given financial compensation. One page (with integral blank), couple of minute punctures. Folio. Bucharest: Iyar 1848 Son of R.
