His grandfather was R. Yechezkel of Shiniva, the oldest son of R. Chaim of Sanz. His father-in-law was R. Moshe Halberstam of Bardiev. His published works are: Bein HaShmashoth and Torath Mikveh. R. Choneh was shot by the Nazis alongside his wife, his sons killed in his presence just prior.
