American Federal Mahogany Pier Table C. 1830 - American Federal Mahogany Pier Table Circa 1830. Original stencil, gilt decorated acanthus leaf and claw feet decoration. Lower back has the original mirror. Black marble top. Center stencil and lower carved gesso cornucopia decoration. Provenance: Lynne Fairchild Spragins Dodson estate, Jackson, Tennessee. Measures 38 1/4” High X 45 5/8” Wide X 20 3/4” Deep. Condition - Overall good original condition. Gesso and wood have wear, chips, losses and age cracks. The mirror appears to be original and has silver losses. Marble is not original and extends from back of case 1 1/4” and is short of side edges 1/4” on each side Condition: Condition - Overall good original condition.
