Group of Industrial Wooden Beehive Bobbins - This group of antique wooden bobbins features lathe-turned cylindrical shafts with flared, grooved beehive-style bases. Each piece is reinforced with brass ferrules at the ends and perforated with staggered holes throughout the body. The flat undersides are stamped with various characters including S, T, E, 3, and 5. Height: 10 3/8 inches Base Diameter: 2 1/4 inches. The bobbins are in good antique condition, showing signs of industrial use. The wood exhibits scattered nicks, scratches, and a vertical drying crack on one base. The brass ferrules show oxidation and a green verdigris patin.
