Bidspirit auction | Amber Pressed Glass Nesting Cat

Amber Pressed Glass Nesting Cat Trinket Dish - A two-piece pressed glass covered trinket dish rendered in a transparent honey-amber color. The glass throughout contains several manufacturing seeds and straw marks typical of mid-century pressed glass production. The piece bears no visible maker marks or signatures on the interior or base. Base Length: 5.25 inches Base Width: 4.25 inches Overall Height: 4 inches. The dish is in good vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the beaded rim or the cat's ears. There is a notable inherent manufacturing flaw consisting of a large trapped air bubble (seed) on the flat rim of the lid. Minor surface scratches and shelf wear to the base are present, consistent with age and use.
