Napco Ceramic Lady Head Vase 1956 - A mid-century ceramic head vase depicting a stylized woman with downcast eyes, long black lashes, and red lips. Produced in Japan for the U.S. market. The figure is adorned with a single strand of faux pearls and two dangling faux-pearl earrings. The underside of the base is stamped in black with the model number C2633A, a copyright symbol followed by NAPCO, and the year 1956. A silver-toned foil sticker is also present on the base reading National Potteries Co. CLEVELAND, O. MADE IN JAPAN. Height: 5.5 inches. The vase is in good vintage condition with fine, all-over age crazing visible throughout the glaze on the face, neck, and base. The faux-pearl necklace is intact, though the adhesive shows significant yellowing and pearls have finish loss. The metal wires on the dangling earrings exhibit oxidation and patina. There are no visible chips, cracks, or repairs.
