Rosenthal Studio-linie Porcelain Romance Bowls - A set of six white porcelain bowls featuring an embossed monochromatic relief pattern in the Romance design. The interiors are decorated with a radial, concentric arrangement of stylized floral and geometric motifs, including ovoid forms and linear rays. This pattern was designed by Bjorn Wiinblad for Rosenthal. The set shows variation in manufacturing marks: one bowl features a green printed backstamp consisting of a stylized rose above the text CLASSIC ROSE, ROSENTHAL GROUP, and GERMANY. The remaining bowls bear a green printed backstamp with a crown over a crossed-mark device above the script signature Rosenthal, studio-linie, and GERMANY. Each bowl is constructed with a low, shallow profile and a circular foot rim. Diameter: 5 1/4 inches Height: 1 1/4 inches. The set is in excellent vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or crazing.
