Rosenthal Studio-Linie Orchid Romance Dessert Plates - A set of eight fine porcelain dessert plates in the Romance form by Rosenthal Studio-Linie. Each plate features a central well with a white-on-white relief texture of concentric geometric rings. The decoration, titled Orchid, consists of a purple and gold cord-motif border that loops at the base into a stylized floral spray of lotus-like blossoms in pink, purple, and gold. The underside of each plate bears a green stamped factory mark featuring the Rosenthal script above two crossed lines and a crown. Below the script are the words studio-linie and GERMANY. The modern textured form was originally designed by Bjorn Wiinblad, providing a tactile contrast to the smooth rim and vibrant transfer-printed floral accents. Diameter: 7.5 inches. The plates are in excellent vintage condition, showing no visible chips, cracks, or repairs across the set. Each plate maintains its original luster and structural integrity.
