Natural Shell & Brass Hinged Trinket Boxes - A pair of vintage clam shell trinket boxes or coin purses constructed from polished natural bivalve shells. The shells exhibit an iridescent cream-to-white coloration with subtle pink tones along the edges. Each box is fitted with a hinged brass-tone metal frame and a small integrated thumb loop at the top. The interior surfaces are unlined, showing the natural mother-of-pearl finish of the shells. These items are in good vintage condition.
