US 40% Silver Bicentennial Coin Set - A three-piece United States Bicentennial Silver Uncirculated Set in its original government packaging. This set contains a 1776-1976 S Washington quarter, a 1776-1976 S Kennedy half dollar, and a 1776-1976 S Eisenhower dollar, each struck in 40% silver at the San Francisco Mint. All three coins bear the S mint mark and the dual commemorative date 1776-1976 on their respective obverses. The set features the specific Bicentennial reverse designs: the colonial drummer on the quarter, Independence Hall on the half dollar, and the Liberty Bell and Moon on the dollar. The coins are housed in a textured blue cardboard holder with a diagonal red, white, and blue stripe, printed with United States Bicentennial and Silver Uncirculated Set in white script. The coin set is in very good uncirculated condition, exhibiting original mint luster throughout. The quarter displays dark peripheral toning and a light surface haze (photo 7). The half dollar and dollar show minor contact marks and light haze consistent with long-term storage in the original plastic film (photos 5 and 6). The blue cardboard folder shows minor shelf wear to the edges and corners.
