Mid Century Sommerso Glass Block Vase - The vessel is constructed using the sommerso (submerged) technique, featuring a core layer of vibrant yellow glass surrounding a central deep red internal cavity. The piece displays the characteristic high-quality color saturation and clarity associated with 20th-century Venetian art glass production. Height: 6 inches Width: 1 3/4 inches Depth: 1 3/4 inches. The vase is in good vintage condition. The polished flat surfaces show minor surface wear consistent with age, including several small visible scratches and light scuffs. A possible tiny flea bite or minor impact mark is present on one sharp edge near the corner. The base exhibits typical shelf wear and light scratching from contact with surfaces. No major cracks or large chips are visible.
