Collection of Early 20th Century Postcards & Valentines - An assortment of approximately 25 pieces of early 20th-century American ephemera, comprising postcards, greeting cards, and advertising trade cards. The collection includes several Victorian-style die-cut Valentines featuring children, hearts, and floral motifs. A notable 1910 Decoration Day postcard features a Civil War veteran and a younger soldier. One postcard bears a clear circular postmark from Imlay City, Mich., dated May 29, 1909. Standard Postcard: 5.5 x 3.5 inches Large Die-Cut Valentine: 7 inches tall. The collection is in fair to good antique condition. Significant vertical tears are present through the center of the sewing machine card and the factory interior card. Several items show corner blunting, light creasing, and surface foxing consistent with age. The Blanke & Bro. trade card exhibits heavy brown adhesive staining at all four corners from previous album mounting.
