Ceramic Art Deco Style Woman Bust - A vintage glazed ceramic bust of a woman executed in a stylized Art Deco fashion. The piece features a tilted head with an expressive downward gaze, defined by black-lined eyebrows, blue irises, and deep red lips. The hair is molded with a high-gloss brown glaze in a voluminous curled style characteristic of the 1940s. The skin tones are finished in a creamy beige glaze. The underside is unfinished white ceramic and features two raised rectangular support ribs and a single circular vent hole in the center. The piece is unmarked, bearing no visible signatures, maker's marks, or model numbers on the exterior or the base. Height: 9.5 inches Width: 9.75 inches. The bust is in good vintage condition. The glaze exhibits significant, fine all-over crazing consistent with age, most notably visible on the face and chest areas. There is a small blue surface mark on the back of the left shoulder and a small unglazed area or flea bite on the bottom front edge of the base. The underside shows typical shelf wear and minor discoloration. No structural cracks or major repairs are visible.
