SSMC Sterling Claw Sugar Tongs & Spoons 28.92 Grams - This assortment features three small silver articles, including a pair of sugar tongs and two condiment spoons. The sugar tongs feature tapered arms with decorative scrolling at the hinge and bird-like claw terminals. The interior of one arm is stamped STERLING followed by a rectangular cartouche containing the characters SSMC, a mark for the Sterling Silver Manufacturing Company. One arm is engraved with a single Old English style monogram letter E. The second item is a condiment spoon featuring an octagonal hammered bowl and a shield-shaped terminal decorated with a Greek key border. The reverse of the neck is stamped STERLING followed by a small circular mark containing the numeral 9. The final item is a miniature salt or spice spoon with a terminal cast in the form of a stag's head with antlers. The reverse of the stem is stamped 800 followed by the name AKRILOCUS.
