American Brilliant Cut Glass Pedestal Cake Stand - A large cut glass cake stand or domed cheese dish featuring a heavy clear glass construction with elaborate deep mitre geometric cuts. Total Height: 11.5 inches Tray Diameter: 11 inches The piece is in good antique condition. The glass is clear with no internal clouding or significant cracks; however, several small yellowish-brown oxidation stains are present on the interior of the dome, and the sawtooth rim exhibits minor flea bites consistent with age. The silver plating on the base shows significant cosmetic wear and thinning, revealing a darker base metal underneath, and the securing nut on the underside is rusted.
