Turkish Copper & Iron Umbrella Stand - This cylindrical copper vessel is designed for use as a decorative umbrella stand or large bucket. The body is constructed from sheet copper featuring a prominent vertical toothed or crenelated seam, a traditional joinery method. The vessel is fitted with two cast brass mounting plates riveted to the upper rim, which support a heavy, hand-wrought iron bail handle ending in decorative hooks. The surface exhibits a heavy, mottled patina with varying shades of dark oxidation, orange, and brown tones, likely achieved through a deliberate decorative finishing process.
