Sato Cloisonne Japanese Yellow Enamel Vase - This Japanese cloisonne enamel miniature vase features a vibrant yellow ground with a high-gloss finish. The tapered ovoid body is decorated with a branching plum tree (ume) extending from the foot toward the shoulder. The blossoms are rendered in white enamel with delicate pink shading at the petal edges and dark wire stamen details, while the buds are depicted in a deep reddish-pink. The stems are executed in dark brown and green tones. The vase is finished with white metal rims at the mouth and foot. Height: 4.75 inches. The vase is in very good vintage condition with no visible cracks, bruises, or losses to the enamel.
