Royal Doulton Goody Two Shoes & Character Jug - This lot features two vintage porcelain items from Royal Doulton. The first is a hand-painted bone china figurine titled Goody Two Shoes, model HN 2037, originally designed by Leslie Harradine. The second item is a miniature ceramic character jug depicting a gentleman in a black top hat and red coat with a blue cravat. The handle is uniquely molded in the form of a walking cane. The underside features a green printed Royal Doulton backstamp with a lion, crown, and circular emblem reading MADE IN ENGLAND, ROYAL DOULTON, ENGLAND. A large hand-painted letter A is present, indicating a production date between 1939 and 1955, along with a small red hand-painted number 13. Height of Figurine: 5 1/4 inches Height of Character Jug: 1 1/4 inches. Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition. The figurine and miniature jug show no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The glazes remain bright and intact across both subjects, with no significant shelf wear or crazing apparent.
