Hubert & Victor Valery Paris Color Etchings - A pair of framed color etchings with aquatint on paper depicting iconic Parisian landmarks. The lower right margin is inscribed Eau-forte originale and signed in pencil Hubert. The second etching depicts the exterior of Notre Dame Cathedral from across the Seine, featuring bouquinistes or booksellers in the foreground. This print is signed in pencil in the lower right margin Victor Valery. Both works are rendered in a delicate palette of greens, blues, and earth tones with visible plate marks. The prints are housed under glass in matching gold-finished wooden frames with cream-colored mats.
