1984 Topps Super Baseball Packs & Cards - A collection of five unopened packs and three oversized trading cards from the 1984 Topps Super Baseball series. The factory-sealed booster packs are encased in green plastic wrappers featuring a white baseball graphic and the printed Topps logo, with each pack containing one giant picture card. The loose cards feature Cal Ripken of the Baltimore Orioles (card 1), Keith Hernandez of the New York Mets (card 26), and Andre Dawson of the Montreal Expos (card 20). Each card displays a primary action photograph with a smaller circular inset portrait and a complete statistical record on the reverse side. The reverse of the cards is marked © 1984 TOPPS CHEWING GUM, INC. PRTD. IN U.S.A. and includes respective team logos. One pack features an orange adhesive retail label reading SAVE-RITE with a handwritten 13. Height: 4 7/8 inches Width: 3 7/16 inches. The collection is in overall very good vintage condition. The five booster packs remain factory-sealed with light crinkling at the crimped edges and minor shelf wear to the plastic wrappers. The Cal Ripken card shows centering shifted toward the right margin on the front. The Keith Hernandez card has a tiny flea bite of whitening on the top left corner of the reverse side. The Andre Dawson card exhibits minor edge whitening at the bottom right reverse corner. The card surfaces show no visible creasing, staining, or major surface scratches.
