Metro Detroit GSUSA Wool & Fabric Uniform Accessories - An assortment of Girl Scouts of the USA uniform accessories from the Metro Detroit council. The group includes a dark green wool felt beret featuring a circular green and white embroidered trefoil patch over a red, white, and dark green pleated ribbon cockade. The interior of the beret is stamped in white ink with a stylized logo of two crossed lines forming a triangle with characters W and C at the top, above text reading MADE IN FRANCE and W.P.L. 1245. Also included is a dark green fabric cross-over tab tie featuring a metal slide adjuster and a matching green plastic snap closure. Two sashes are present: one in dark forest green representing Troop 539 with a yellow narcissus patch, and one in a light mint green heathered fabric representing Troop 735 with a lily-of-the-valley patch. Both sashes bear embroidered red rocker patches reading METRO DETROIT and official GSUSA arcs with shield motifs. The collection is in good overall vintage condition. The wool beret shows minor surface lint and pilling, and the tab tie has light creasing from storage. While the dark green sash is well-preserved, the light green sash exhibits significant fraying at the bottom pointed tip . All embroidered patches remain vibrant and securely attached.
