Original Pleasant Company Addy Walker American Girl Doll - An American Girl Addy Walker doll produced by Pleasant Company, featuring a vinyl head and limbs with a soft cloth body. The doll is designed with textured dark brown synthetic hair in its original styling and brown sleep eyes. She is dressed in her original Meet Addy ensemble, including a pink and white striped cotton dress with white buttons, white lace-trimmed pantalettes, black stockings, and black faux-leather lace-up boots. Accessories include a woven straw bonnet with a blue floral patterned ribbon, gold-tone hoop earrings, and the original paper wrist tag attached to the hand. The lot is accompanied by a First Edition copy of the book Meet Addy published by Pleasant Company and dated 1993, a character trading card, and a promotional pamphlet, all housed within the original plain white storage box. The back of the neck is impressed with PLEASANT COMPANY, 1 4 8, and 1 6. The head is secured to the body with original white cotton neck strings. Height: 18 inches The doll is in good overall vintage condition. Both eyes exhibit silvering, a manufacturing defect resulting in clouding of the eye decals.
