3 Kellogg's 3-D Super Stars Baseball Cards - An assortment of three vintage 3-D Super Stars baseball cards issued as food premiums by Kellogg's in the early 1970s. The collection features two cards of Hall of Fame pitcher James Augustus Catfish Hunter and one card of Kenneth Hawk Harrelson. These cards are constructed with a lenticular plastic surface over cardstock, creating a three-dimensional visual effect. Each card displays a facsimile player signature on the front and comprehensive career statistics on the reverse. Included are the 1970 Ken Harrelson card number 68 of 75 (Cleveland Indians), the 1972 James Augustus Hunter card number 22 of 54 (Oakland Athletics), and the 1974 James Augustus Hunter card number 44 of 54 (Oakland Athletics). The 1970 card bears a printed reverse mark reading ©1969 MLB Promo. Corp., while the 1972 and 1974 cards are printed with the XOGRAPH trademark. Height: 3 1/2 inches Width: 2 1/4 inches The cards are in very good overall vintage condition, exhibiting sharp corners and clean edges throughout the group. Centering is notably off-center on both Catfish Hunter cards, with the 1974 issue shifted toward the bottom border and the 1972 issue shifted toward the top border. The Harrelson card shows slight age-related yellowing to the white paper borders. The lenticular surfaces are clear and free of the vertical cracking or crazing often associated with this issue.
