Japanese Wax Wise Monkey Novelty Candles - A set of three Japanese novelty candles depicting the Three Wise Monkeys motif. The figures represent See No Evil, Hear No Evil, and Speak No Evil, each molded in a seated, hunched posture. The candles are constructed from two-tone wax, featuring dark chocolate brown bodies with lighter olive green heads and arms. Each figure is embossed on the lower front torso with the mark JAPAN in block lettering. The candles are in unused condition with the original wicks intact and unburnt. Height: 4 inches Width: 2.5 inches The candles are in very good vintage condition with unburnt wicks. Visible surface wear includes light scratches, minor nicks to the hands and base edges, and patches of white waxy bloom oxidation across the exterior surfaces. Small pieces of wax debris are present on the figures.
