Painted Composition Elongated Mannequin Head - This vintage millinery or wig mannequin head is designed in a stylized mid-century female form featuring a long, slender neck and partial bust. The piece is finished in a tan-brown paint with hand-painted facial features including brown eyes, arched eyebrows, and dark burgundy lips. The structure is supported by a wooden base insert with a central mounting hole for display attachment. Four white stylized brushstrokes are present on the upper chest, although the item is otherwise unmarked. Height: 18 inches Base Width: 6.75 inches The mannequin head is in fair vintage condition with significant surface wear. Extensive crazing and cracking is present in the finish on the crown and back of the head. Several areas of yellowed adhesive residue from former tape usage are visible. The painted surface shows overall pitting and bubbling, a small gouge on the bridge of the nose, and general scuffs consistent with heavy use.
