Gilbert Steel No. 10063 Action Conveyor Erector Set - An assortment of perforated steel plates, girders, and mechanical components from a Gilbert No. 10063 Action Conveyor Erector Set. The collection is housed in its original red and yellow lithographed metal box with a hinged lid. The exterior lid is printed with a red circle reading GILBERT followed by NO. 10063 ERECTOR THE ACTION CONVEYOR SET. The interior lid features vibrant graphics and text advertising an automatic rocket launcher, rocket servicing towers, and over 375 parts. Included in the set are various steel strips, brass bushings, and rubber-tired wheels with red centers. A blue-cased electric motor featuring forward and reverse functions is present, along with a silver metal cylinder bearing the ERECTOR trademark. The lot also contains a Gilbert Erector Instruction Book marked M4664 and a loose assembly diagram page for a tower. Case Length: 18 inches. The set is in fair to good vintage condition. The metal box shows moderate exterior wear including scratches, paint loss, and areas of oxidation along the corners and edges. The interior lid lithography remains bright but exhibits minor surface scuffs. The instruction manual shows typical age-related wear including creasing and edge fraying. Internal components appear used and are loose within the divided tray; the set has not been inventoried and completeness is not guaranteed.
