Amethyst Pressed Glass Column Candlesticks - A matched pair of amethyst pressed glass candlesticks. Each candlestick is designed with a square-profile stepped column featuring a central knop, rising from a broad square base. The column transitions into a square nozzle at the top. The underside of each base is decorated with a molded radiating sunburst or fan pattern. The glass is a deep translucent purple amethyst hue. These pieces are mold-pressed, exhibiting visible vertical mold seams along the stems and nozzles. The bases are molded smooth without a pontil mark. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are present; the items are unmarked. Height: 9.5 inches The candlesticks are in good antique condition overall. Minor flea bites and small manufacturing irregularities are present along the sharp edges of the nozzles and bases. Both candle sticks have small chips on the corners of the bases, see pictures.
