Gorham & Rogers Silver-Plated Baby Tableware - An assortment of vintage silver-plated baby tableware including a small bowl, three spoons, and two forks. The small bowl, produced by the Gorham Manufacturing Company, features a plain flared design and is stamped on the base with an anchor within a shield flanked by the letters E and P, followed by the maker name GORHAM in a rounded rectangle and model number Y0859. A partial foil label remains reading Gorham SILVERPLATE. The collection includes a promotional Gerber's baby spoon with a figural baby face terminal, marked WINTHROP SILVER PLATE on the reverse. A two-piece scroll-pattern set is marked PAT. APLD. FOR with a cross pattée, W.R., and a keystone symbol. A second floral-patterned set features a fork marked WM. ROGERS & SON and a spoon marked 1847 ROGERS BROS. Daffodil. Bowl Diameter: 4.75 inches Bowl Height: 1.5 inches Gerber Spoon Length: 3.75 inches Scroll Flatware Length: 4.25 inches Floral Spoon Length: 4.5 inches. The collection is in fair vintage condition overall. Each piece exhibits significant dark tarnish and surface scratching consistent with age and use. Visible green verdigris corrosion is present in the recessed decoration of the Gerber spoon and the scroll-pattern flatware set. Notable plating loss is evident on the reverse side of the floral pattern spoon bowl.
