Wallace Sterling Grande Baroque Tongs & Southwestern Flatware - A three-piece assortment of sterling flatware. The group includes a pair of sugar tongs in the Grande Baroque pattern by R. Wallace & Sons. The interior handle is impressed with a mark featuring a vertical bar, a stag head, R W & S, and the word STERLING. The piece is decorated with elaborate pierced and scrolled Rococo motifs. Also included is a souvenir fork and spoon set featuring stamped Southwestern motifs. Both pieces are impressed STERLING on the reverse handle. The handles are decorated with a thunderbird motif above a round turquoise cabochon in a serrated bezel, followed by stamped sunburst and arrow symbols. The spoon bowl and fork shoulders feature additional stamped decorative borders. The Wallace sugar tongs are in excellent condition with minor tarnish in the recessed areas of the design. The Southwestern fork and spoon show surface oxidation and light scratching consistent with age. The turquoise settings are secure. No visible chips, cracks, or repairs are present.
