McCoy Hammered Ceramic Cookie Kettle - A ceramic cookie jar designed in the form of a tea kettle by McCoy Pottery. The piece features a tapered earthenware body with a relief-molded hammered or dimpled texture, coated in a dark metallic bronze-tone luster glaze. Height: 6 1/2 inches The cookie jar is in good vintage condition. A small chip is visible where the handle joins the body (photo 3). Shelf wear flakes are present along the unglazed foot rim (photo 7). The metallic glaze shows minor surface oxidation and spotting consistent with age.
