McCoy Ceramic Kitty Cat Basket Cookie Jar - A vintage earthenware cookie jar manufactured by McCoy Pottery. The piece features a rectangular base molded with a textured basket-weave pattern and a diagonal plaque on the front inscribed with the word Cookies. The underside of the base features an incised mark reading mccoy in lowercase cursive script. Height: 11 inches The cookie jar is in good overall vintage condition, with the general character of age-related wear. Extensive glaze crazing is visible across all surfaces of the lid and base. Significant cold-paint loss and wear are present on the black-painted areas including the cat ears, paws, and the lettering on the front plaque. Minor surface staining and scuffing are visible on the pink bows. Typical shelf wear is present on the unglazed foot rim, and no structural chips, cracks, or repairs are visible.
