Sheffield Silver Co. Silent Butler - A silver-plated silent butler manufactured by the Sheffield Silver Co. featuring a circular hinged lid engraved with a heraldic horse crest. The piece is fitted with a turned wooden handle and a decorative shell-motif thumbpiece. The underside is stamped SHEFFIELD SILVER CO. MADE IN USA. Total Length: Approximately 11.5 inches Pan Diameter: Approximately 6 inches. Good vintage condition with surface tarnish concentrated on the underside and hinge mechanism. The interior shows minor pitting and oxidation spots, and the wooden handle exhibits a small gap at the ferrule while remaining securely attached. Light surface scratches and scuffs are present consistent with age and use.
