A Pair of Brass Candlesticks - A pair of cast brass candlesticks featuring a traditional neoclassical design. Each piece consists of a scalloped top rim over a gadrooned socket cup and a fluted central column, terminating in a wide stepped base with melon-style ornamentation. The components are assembled via a central threaded rod, and the underside of one base retains a gold foil label reading MADE IN INDIA. Height: 7.75 inches. Good overall condition with surface scratches and tarnish consistent with age and use. Candle sockets contain multi-colored wax residue and visible oxidation. Minor irregularities and small dings are present along the bottom edges of the circular bases.
