Seven English Ceramic Character Jugs - This collection includes seven glazed ceramic character jugs produced by English potteries including Royal Doulton, Thorley, and Brel Ware. The assortment features traditional subjects such as The Poacher, Old Charley, and Fat Boy, each rendered in polychrome glazes. All pieces bear maker marks or stamps on the underside. The Poacher: 4 inches Old Charley: 3.25 inches Royal Doulton man in black hat: 3.125 inches Thorley Fat Boy: 2.5 inches Royal Doulton man with glasses: 2.25 inches Royal Doulton woman in green bonnet: 2.25 inches Brel Ware miniature: 1.75 inches. Good vintage condition overall. The Royal Doulton jug depicting a woman in a green bonnet has a significant chip on the interior rim. The Brel Ware jug shows fine crazing to the base, and several items have minor adhesive residue or surface wear consistent with age.
