Norton Howe Prints of Gurdon Howe - This lot features two prints, identified as wood engravings, by artist Gurdon Howe and printed by Norton Howe. Both works depict scenes from Shelter Island, New York. The first print, titled Silver Beach, Shelter Island. Sheet dimensions: 10 x 12 inches. Both prints are in excellent condition. The prints remain sharp and dark. There is no evidence of foxing, tears, or significant wear to the image areas. Very light toning is present only at the extreme edges of the cream-colored paper.
