Leonid Stroganov, Florist, Etching, 2003 - This etching on paper, titled Florist (Цветочница), is by the contemporary Russian artist Leonid Stroganov and is part of his XVIII Century series. The work displays a distinct rectangular plate mark. In the lower margin, the piece is titled in pencil in Cyrillic at the bottom left, numbered e.a. 14/40 at the center, and signed and dated in pencil L. Stroganov 2003 at the bottom right. A circular embossed artist's chop mark featuring a stylized LS monogram is located below the image. Image size: 8.5 inches x 6.25 inches Frame size: 20 inches x 13.5 inches. The etching is in very good condition. The paper appears clean with no visible signs of foxing, toning, or staining. The impression is sharp with no evidence of plate wear. The frame and matting are in good condition with only minor surface scuffing to the frame edges.
