Cleo Teissedre Hand Painted Ceramic Storyteller Figurine 1986 - Cleo Teissedre hand-painted ceramic storyteller figurine. This contemporary Southwestern-style piece depicts a central seated figure with eyes closed and mouth open in an orating pose. The figure is adorned with smaller figures representing children climbing over the shoulders, arms, and lap. The underside of the base bears hand-painted markings in black ink: Teissedre, © 1986, and a stylized monogram within an oval. Height: 5.5 inches The item is in good overall condition. Minor surface scuffs and light staining are present on the reverse. A few paint chips are present. No visible chips, cracks, or professional repairs are present.
